Venini/Bianconi four seasons bottles
« on: January 11, 2016, 10:54:40 AM »
Desperate for some expert guidance. Can anyone help?

I have a Fulvio Bianconi "Ricordo d'Estate" GI VI Emme 1951 perfume bottle (See image). This I believe was his first commission for Venini. It’s part of the four seasons collection designed for this perfume house. It is unsigned and has no label.

I recently (last week) saw a larger version of the bottle in an exhibition of his work in Venice. Ours however is much smaller than the one in the exhibition. The original is about 15cm tall. Ours is about 6 cm tall. Have you any information on this.

Is ours a prototype? Or did Venini make a smaller range for this company.

Cant find any info on this smaller version.

Given the attitude of the Bianconi estate in respect of his work, I suggest that you may be well-advised to approach them for this information directly: http://fulviobianconi.com/expertise/. If you do so please let us know how you get on. :)
