Vase ID Help Needed
« on: November 15, 2007, 11:03:02 PM »
Hi there

Can anyone help with this one please...

It's a greeny/clear glass vase with plenty of age to the (polished) base. It's very heaving weighing over 2kg (that's as as high as our scales will go).

The vase is 19.5cm high and 8cm wide. The vase is thick walled, but smooth on the inside, and the inside looks a bit like an ice cube.

All replies appreciated.

Hiya Palo400

It looks very much like a couple that I had a while back. They were discussed in this thread: http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,9363.0.html

Hi Palo400,
As Della suggested, Skrdkovice/Beranek production of Vizner pattern number 6860/20. Lack of internal colour suggests later production, and these have been in production for the best part of forty years, so fairly common.
Regards,
Marcus
