Question:
It is just a *SIMPLE* black light that one gets to check this out, or is it a UV light, or something special.  What kind of light, exactly...

LOL @ posted title...."duck with funny BOTTOM".....my bottom is funny too, but will not be posted....lol

A black light is a UV light, but the wavelength of the UV can vary. Something like this would probably do, but you need to then learn the difference between the glow given off by uranium and the glow given off by other compounds that can be in glass

So does it matter what kind of wave-lenght black light you get....like do Walmart, or your regular stores sell a *good* level (uv) black light.  This may be a stupid question -- but there could be a difference, and if you are not sure -- ASK  :-\

Right Sue C... ;)

You're more likely to get one in a specialist electrical store - the sort that sells electrical components - they often have keyfob ones - but that ebay one I gave should be OK for what you need. If you don't get the really bright glow as in the photo, then it's probably not uranium glass. See here http://www.1st-glass.1st-things.com/vaselineglass.html and http://www.vaselineglass.org/ for more info

So what colour does your duck's bottom go under UV? From here it's hard to see
