can someone please send me a photo or post one on here of a antique Baccarat weight any will do , i'm looking for a shot of the base and a profile view....

Hi, usually a google or ebay search will yield plenty.

www.selman.com also have a good mix of antique and modern, their auction catalogues go back a few years with
many antique french weights.

most of selmans weight's only show the top view i'm mainly after the profile veiw, and most on google don't show the profile square on.....

i got the stag weight that you bid on, and i'm 99.99% sure it's a amber flashed engraved Baccarat and not a Bohemian one

I wasn't sure, hence the lack of will to fight for it

But Baccarat did cross my mind when I saw it.

I'm not very well versed in the flashed antique weights, the books I have only show a couple of weights and not profiles.

It is a very nice one. Can you post some pics of it?

I had some trouble with emails and had not replied tp the message you sent. Unfortunately, I have no photos of any Baccarat flashed & engraved weights that show a profile view.

I would expect better engraving from Baccarat but no idea if they did things to a lower budget too.

Ray, I've got an antique Baccarat weight, but it's been re-polished by Bob Hall.  Is it any use to you?  If so I'll attach pics tomorrow.
