hi, i've  had this paperweight a few years now.i collect mostly scottish paperweights but i can't find any info on this one,thanks

I've seen an almost identical item but with yellow footsteps on a royal blue background.

I think I saw it for sale in a charity shop as part of a consignment of weights from China - as such probably produced in the late 90's.

A good indication would be the base - most of the modern chinese/taiwanese pieces are polished creating an opaque surface compared with the clear glass interior.

Your weight is very seasonal and I much prefer it to the one I saw!!!

thanks cfosterk,the base is clear with no markings,if it is chinese i don't mind,it's a lovely paperweight,large and oval shape and you never know it might be rare ::)

I had a glass plaque that had this motif or very similar, it also carried this poem, maybe your weight has something to do with this ?
