Beaky and necky but who made them?????
« on: July 19, 2005, 08:41:06 AM »
I was lucky enough to grab these two on a buy it now on e-bay a couple of weeks ago just after the listing appeared, but am struggling to find a maker. They came from a house clearance and were both wrapped in newspaper from 1932, so COULD be early. The size and quality of them both is superb with beaky measuring 10" tall and 10" wide from beak to tail. Necky stand a proud 12" tall. No damage at all even that beak is perfect, but help on them please. My best guesses are Seguso or Barovier, but all help welcome.

I saw those on Ebay too, and was very tempted to buy the bluish coloured bird.  However, I simply cannot keep buying things, as much as I'd like to!

I wait with trepidation as the attribution, to see exactly what I missed.   :x

The only thing you missed was taking the opportunity
