Unidentified vintage Murano Candlesticks
« on: January 29, 2008, 07:45:40 PM »
Here are one of my favourites from my collection - a delightful pair of orange candlesticks, which I presume are from the 1960's

I have a feeling that the orange is rather unusual and candlesticks in Murano don't turn up very often, so I hope this might help in the identification. If anyone could give me any further information, I would be most grateful.

The candlesticks stand 8 ½ inch in height and each has a bubble in the stem. They are a vibrant orange colour which looks wonderful with light shining through. The bases are ground flat and they are unsigned.

Best wishes,

Wes

They're super cool! Exactly my style!

I'm going to guess Salviati, circa 1960s. Very nice!
