Reply to Anne, thank you for your thoughts as to whether it could be Dartington, I live about 6 miles from Dartington Hall and we get loads of the more common Dartington glass turning up at car boots and in the charity shops thats a definate possibility.  I found a nipple candle holder in midnight at the same charity shop, haven't seen one in that form before, its like the vases but shorter and with the candleholder neck you seen on the squat daisy candleholders.

Might be Jozefina glass?

There are others on that site too, couldn't find this one though.

Hi JP thank for your info, Dartington glass is created at Torrington which is a bit of a way from Dartington so don't know anyone who works at the glass works but I think I might pop along to Dartington and see if there is anyone there who can give me an idea of whether it is Dartington Studio or not, if anyone can come up with any more info thank you in advance.

Thanks for the link Andy, the one shown does feature the same sort of markings, had a look through the site but couldn't find any others like mine but maybe its an older design but this seems to be the closest so far.

Check the date of my post - I posted the pics two years ago Andy :P  it's you who's replying two years later!  :kissy:

I moved the topic into British from the depths of Glass whilst doing some Mod housekeeping earlier, so that's why you've been alerted to the topic I s'pose!  Still, it's better late than never!  8)
