Truly fascinating! I collect glass buttons, I have thousands of them, & I have always admired the effort that went into making these little works of art. It is just wonderful to see one of the tools used in their creation.

Hi Pamela,
I have one photograph of a man using a more sophisticated home set up for making beads. of the same period.
Unlike your pliers, this appears to be some type of foot press with a furnace adjacent. I will post this later or tomorrow.
