IOW Azurene paperweight - which collection?
« on: February 05, 2008, 03:46:30 PM »
This is such a lovely IOW weight - blue pink and green with gold, cased in clear with additional gold leaf to the outside of the glass.  Black square label, so roughly 1990-92 - I have gone through Mark's book, and checked out Artius and the IOW sites, and still can't put a collection name to it.

Can anyone help please?

Could it be "Mosaic"?

Yes, thank you, it could be now you mention it  - that is one pattern that Mark doesn't illustrate so I always have problems checking that.  I understand that there are two versions of Mosaic too - the current one has distinct leaf shapes, but the older one doesn't.

I did have a Mosaic perfume bottle once, that Ron Wheeler kindly id'd for me, but that pic went when I lost my harddisk..
Thank you very much!

Here's the correct link to the gallery of pix http://clarkagency.co.uk/clicpicfeb/iwo_azurene_weight/_local_iwo_azurene_weight.htm

It's always the ones that aren't illustrated that you want isn't it!
