Thanks Christine - I was feeling rather lazy when I posted (sorry Glen :-[)

Gilead, it is not Chance (I just happened to be wandering by) :spls2: but I think Christine is on the right track. However, having your location would be helpful - US or UK pressed glass, for example?

Sowerby, Davidson, Bagley were the larger UK pressed glass concerns, but I'd personally favour one of the first two.

www.cloudglass.com is a good starting place to search for Davidson.

I seem to remember seeing the Sowerby dolphin footed bowl in just this lovely shade of reddy-orange!

Can't find it in my catalogue CD. Doesn't mean it isn't Sowerby though

Yes Leni the Diving Dolphins came in "Ruby"

Hi Guys,
I cannot help, but hats off to all of you working on this, a wonderful example of GMB members in action. Gilead, you could not be helped by a better, more wonderful, knowledgeable and generous group of people.
I hope you get the answer.
Regards,
Marcus

Hi all
just after a bit of info is it best to start a new post if you have another piece of glass or just had to the post i have already started, plus, i have another post with several items on, some identified but others not, the ones not, should i post again but alone, then maybe it helps not having to have your heads full of different visual picture's. advise much appreciated, as i am new here, plus gives me an excuse to nudge this post
