I know what you mean about hiding in plain sight. I have so many books, but often forget to look in them for answers. Pina's values are usually pretty realistic for Moretti's satinato pieces, though eBay values can be mighty low. I think your vase is a beautiful shade of green. Carlo Moretti had some great colors.

I had quite a strong feeling it was Carlo Morreti glass but then i do have about thirty pieces of the Maestros work most with labels but some hand signed.

It would be nice to establish definitively that it's Moretti, but whether or not it is, I am glad to know it is a vintage 1960s piece.  It has lasted 40 years, despite its dangerous design.  I've cat-proofed it, as best I could, by placing it between the buffet and side table in the dining room.

Someone on the Murano board had a Moretti set he wanted to have verified. He emailed the company and they wrote him back right away. Maybe they would do the same for your vase -- definitely worth a try if you want a definite attribution. I bet it is Moretti, even if Leslie didn't attribute it to them.
