Only superficially, the Strathearn design has way more bubbles whereas this one is typical of Avondale, they make this layout in a variety of colours.

There is a series of photographs of one of these weights here (on an orange fabric background), the images are from an old ebay auction and may not last: https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=avondale+paperweight+glass&client=firefox-b&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjDpbKQsP3OAhUEIMAKHbJ5AWwQ_AUICSgC&biw=1366&bih=634#imgrc=_

Yes, Avondale may well be correct. But also yes, the main images from the eBay entry have disappeared so the detail cannot be checked. And searching online for a similar paperweight is not very fruitful - there are loads of animals etc. described as paperweights but nothing obvious for paperweights such as the one in this thread.

I suggest an email to Avondale Glass.

It just occurred to me that there may be some images lurking on my machine, frustratingly I did not keep an 'overhead' view of this weight so these images are not conclusive, however the weight in these photos has the same bubble layout as the OP's.

I have two of these - a green one, and a purple one...and I do not know who made them. But they came from Scotland, with some Strathearn and Vasart pieces...so I suspect that they are Scottish.
