Bright Uranium controlled bubble bowl , Murano? if so, maker?
« on: February 21, 2008, 03:58:57 PM »
I couldnt resist this in cabinet of charity shop, i knew it would glow brightly under u/v,
and does it ;D (glows in daylight/flash also!)
Probably  Murano, but put it on general Glass board first. Perfect condition,
A blob of dark blue glass in base, surrounde by inch of bubbles. 2" tall, 4" wide, sort of 3 sided/oval,
maker anyone?
Cheers
Andy :D

(if opinion is Murano, please move to Murano board, thx)

That's a great bowl.  :) Definitely Murano. I would guess Cenedese or Galliano Ferro. Here's a similar one that recently sold on ebay (though not exactly the same). Unfortunately, no label. Ebay item  170190753231.
