« on: February 23, 2008, 02:27:34 PM »
It is a candle stick, it has a label made in Finland, the base is signed Tapio Wirkkala and 7412, but when was it made and for whom?

Hi,
This candlestick is designed at the beginning of the fifities.
It was in iittala's catalogue between 1954 and 1971. The number is indeed 3412, and not 7412.
Later this candlestick was called 'Mushroom candlestick'. Due to its curious form.

Kind regards,

B
