Art Nouveau Silver topped vase id
« on: March 03, 2008, 03:12:42 PM »
Can anyone point me in the direction of a maker for this little late art nouveau style vase?  Its silver top is a little bashed but the hallmark suggests it's from London 1912.  The maker's mark on the silver is DL, which would fit for  David Loebl at Schindler & Co.  It has three of these triangular motifs around its top.  Its base is flat, it is 20 cm tall (8") and it weighs 225g.  Sorry the photos aren't too good - it's resisting all my attempts to focus properly.
