To identify signed Orchid Amethyst Bowl! - ID = Caithness
« on: March 11, 2008, 07:44:48 PM »
11 Cm's height x 12 Cm's at widest point.  3 Cm's thick base signed “ORCHID  ARCG 79”.  The latter I assume are the makers signature followed by the date!  Amethyst coloured glass bowl with clear base and a dull feeling orchid emblazoned on the 'front'.  I suspect Caithness but!!  A very pretty bowl: any ideas please?  Thanks.

But not in quite the same incurved shape or with the same orchids - I looked. Possibly because it's earlier than any of the catalogues Frank has put up
