Orrefors Fuga question?
« on: July 22, 2005, 03:15:42 PM »
I just got this piece of Orrefors Fuga.  First I am trying to find out what it is.  My guess is a votive candle holder.  It is 2 1/2" tall.  It does say Fuga Orrefors on the bottom. Second is this line designed by Palmqvist and when was it made?  Thanks for your help.

Sven Palmqvist is the designer and inventor of the
centrifuge used in the creation of the fuga line and other
crystal items from this glass works.
The line started to be produced at Orrefors in 1953.
