Soda Vase - to ID Make & Time Please!
« on: March 18, 2008, 09:08:15 PM »
A very nice soda vase with the same finishes as Whitefriars, however, according to the catalogues, definitely not Whitefriars.  I have this vase on display next to my Whitefriar soda vases and to be honest, they feel and look as though made by the same manufacturer, especially on the base.  However, there is nothing in the Whitefriar catalogues this shape.  Height 23.5cm Width 9cm Weight 315 grams colour as image.  Can any one identify the make and time of this vase?  Thanks.

I don't get it. Why do you mention what is is not four times? It is a perfectly unassuming vase made in either Empoli or by one of the many works in Sweden or Germany. Chances of getting more detailed are very very slim.
