Sorry Paul,
I cannot help with this, and certainly this does not appear in my database of more than 4500 items of post-war Czechoslovakian production.
You should be wary of the bird-bath base-well, as this could also apply to glass from VLG Lausitz, Ankerglas, VEB Sachsenglas Ottendorf-Okrilla, and Zabkowice, and thus is a feature of pressed glass production, rather than a clear indication that an item must be Sklo Union.
Regards,
Marcus

Thanks for the reply Marcus.. maybe in a year or so I will develop more
of an eye for the glass I am trying to collect, still the vase was a bargain for £1.00
Thanks again Paul.

I know Marcus I do get lucky sometimes.. it was a purchase from a local charity shop
and is a nice vase, maybe one will appear someday with a label fingers crossed... I do
like to find recognised examples. Paul

Hello...  just wanted to say that this vase is Polish, produced by Ząbkowice as pattern numer 6049. It appears in the 1971 catalogue here (scroll down to page 32).
