Large blue flared mouth vase 1930s
« on: March 20, 2008, 12:15:57 PM »
A lovely big blue vase 13 inches tall, about 12 inches across the mouth!
I think its got some age to it 1930s - 50s. Polished pontil. All good so far ;D

Sadly bought in my early collecting days for too much money, because someone has
signed it Keith Murray Stevens & Williams ! And i dont think thats probably right :'(  :-[  :-[

Still, one learns from ones mistakes, and moves on, its been sitting at the back of a shelf for some
years now, but i still think its a nice impressive piece of glass, and i thought someone on here, may
have an idea where it has come from?
It could be an English maker, maybe Bohemian?

Any ideas
Cheers
Andy

The unpolished base + irregularity of the pontil + this particular shade of blue, points to China IMHO
