Dogs and Polar bears are welcome at the Zoo too  ;) I do prefer white backgrounds and at least 3-4 views Currently has 4 Polar bears and 38 dogs, a few more of the latter waiting for their portait session. Here is my fave latest polar bear, a bottle USA 1932-64

How about an ape and a bird, Frank? I also have a Goebel crystal elephant and a dog, if you would like pics?  Oh, and a noewhatsit signed Nason fish, suffering from glass sickness, I think.
If I know, I'll comment. If I think I know, I'll have a go. If I have no idea, I'll just keep quiet and learn from others, so the next time I'll know.

I have some polar bears I can photograph for the zoo, these two and a nice Hadeland one.

These two are still unidentified, bought from Sweden, signed W.F. 1/1 and a total conundrum.

Polar Bear W.F. Signature

Edit - they're huge, the standing one is 29 cm tall, around 11"

Any help identifying these would be most appreciated.

Coo they are big... Yes please - you can mail to me using envelope icon on left

Della, yes please too.

Zoo population is approaching 400 and I only have around 50 more to photograph - it would be nice to reach 1,000 this year.  :)

Human figures are welcome too, I just class them as another animal ::)

Super, thank you. I have no exclusions, Chinese with a label is particularly useful as there is so little documented Chinese glass and they are certainly prolific animal producers.

Frank, I can't remember (and I don't have my old emails any more) did I send you the unknown walrus?

Thank you very much!

Ohhhhhh, you will like him.....I haven't got the foggiest who made him, but he is loverly.

I may have to take new pics, I'll have a look.  He is clear so is a black background ok?  I will try with black to the side, but I'm not good at taking pics with smooth clear glass :-\
Thank you very much!

White please, clear glass shot on black looks good but the edges are lost and it is impossible to cut the background out. I can tweak it quite effectively in Photoshop  :) Thanks Lynne - hopefully we get to find his parent one day!
