Hi! No more Tour D'Argent ducks here, but I found this vase that I think is Murano. It's 9" tall and has no markings or sticker. I now I have seen it before online but darned if I can find it again! Any help is much appreciated!

Can we have a photo against white and of the base. The colours (shades) seem a little odd for Murano

I am a bad glassie, should have included the bottom shot in the first post.
Here is the bottom;

Thanks!

Probably Murano, but couldn't say who. The yellow looked olive green before

Thanks! I found some identical shapes on the fossilfly home page, being imported currently. So maybe not as old as I first thought. Thanks for the help!

Hi Karla,
its quite a common shape, and as you say still made in Murano today, also this type of vase has/is
been made in Bohemia, Holland, Scandinavia etc.
I think the beveled edge to the base can often mean Bohemian/Czech. That would be my guess,
wherever, its an attractive vase :D

Regards Andy

ps ive also seen practically identical by Flavio Poli for seguso, without a label or signature, its
not going to be easy to get it 100%

Another typical example of me , making it up as i go along ::)
Leslie Pinas book, 'circa Fifties glass' has 3 similar examples, looks similar colour
attributed to Flavio Poli, for Seguso, Vetri d'Arte.

Please may i change my opinion ;)
