Allan Scott 's paperweights

Leni:
Hi Allan,

To preserve his modesty,   I'll post a couple of samples of Adam's work - the first Adam Aaronson piece I owned - a perfume bottle:  http://tinypic.com/a3jcl1.jpg

And my precious 'Estuary Dawn' vase, from his 'Landscapes' range, which we saw him make and which he kindly inscribed 'made at the inagural meeting of the London Glassaholics'  :D http://tinypic.com/a3j97t.jpg

However, Adam has also already ventured into paperweight making!  Here's one of his I bought at the National Glass Collectors' Fair this year: http://tinypic.com/a3ja1g.jpg

Can't wait to see him try lampwork!    :D

Hi,
Thanks for posting the pics Leni,Looks like interesting stuff. How big are the pieces?.The middle image especially looks interesting. If you are reading this Adam, how long have you been glassmaking and where?.

Leni:
The perfume bottle is sort of large paperweight size and the paperweight is .... er ... sort of large paperweight size!

Adam's Landscapes come in all sizes!  Mine's a whopping 8" high and 5" diameter and *heavy*!  But it's not as big as some of the ones he makes

Here's a pic of the display of Landscapes he took to the National, including some *really* big ones!   http://tinypic.com/a407x0.jpg

Some of the "earthy" ones have a kind of Hans Coper feel to them.....impressive display particularly when shown together like this.
