Mdina (is this style still liked)

Lustrousstone:
well a lot of it... nice book though

MarkHill:
Thanks very much for the plug David!
My book covers the period from when Michael Harris founded the company and devised their products in 1968, until he left in 1972, with a brief few pages on later new designs and derivations of original his designs.
Incidentally, one of the main reasons, if not THE main reason, why I could not take these further is that Joseph Said (Mdina's current owner) did not seem to want to help in any way. I tried for over three years (on and off) to converse with him, and although his daughter was initially very helpful, contact soon slipped away. A colleague also went to visit him in Malta, but again with no avail. There was simply no enthusiasm there, but I guess they do have a very busy business to run! I'd love to have gone further but, hey ho, maybe next time.
Mark

(and everyone is right about these pieces, of course - not that anyone needs me to say that!)
