Possible Loetz, perhaps Kralik or Other ...?
« on: November 25, 2012, 03:38:16 PM »
I'm sure I've seen this type of decor before, although can't seem to place it, my first thoughts were possibly Loetz or secondly perhaps Kralik.

Measures approx, 3.5 inches tall and 4.25 wide. Snapped pontil mark to the base.

All thoughts greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Greg

Thanks for taking a look Keith, much appreciated.  I had a browse of Craig's site earlier, also couldn't spot a match. Thought it rang a bell from somewhere, maybe I'm thinking of something else!  ???

Wondered if there were any other thoughts on this one....can't seem to find anything similar at present. Wondered about the possibility of it perhaps being possibly by Rindskopf as I have seen a few other Rindskopf pieces with similar base treatments....

All thoughts appreciated.

Although I am not sure who made it, Rindskopf does come to mind when I look at it....  It kinda resembles honeycomb, but I am not sure who did this......
I have been told that glass is my mistress......

Thanks for your thoughts Craig, greatly appreciated.  :)

Rindskopf, certainly looks the closest thus far. The honeycomb texture, reminds me a little of some pieces seen in Rindskopf's textured Pepita and Grenada decors, although appreciate the colours are different on mine. I thought the texture on this piece was a reasonable comparison.....
