ARE THESE VASES MURANO?
« on: August 16, 2005, 06:38:51 AM »
Both these vases measure 9 inches in height.  The two coloured vase has a flat base whereas the other vase has a circular ground out pontil to the base - could this one be Scandinavian?Any advice would be much appreciated thank you.

Kind Regards
Trudy

The purple-and-blue sommerso vase is most likely Muranese - the purple one with the oval section was made at Stömbergshyttan in Sweden - the design is by Gunnar Nylund.
