Bit out of my depth with this one, but feel it gives more than a passing nod to the 'swung' vases from the 50's and 60' from these two sources.  365mm tall - flat base with enough wear to take it back 40 - 60 years perhaps.   Think it may have an Orrefors mouth and body more, but colour seems wrong.   Sorry it's a bit dirty, needs a good clean.   Thanks for looking and appreciate any ideas people.    Paul S.

Hej Paul

It is not Holmegaard, but Per Lütken did actually made one very similar to yours, just 54 cm in height and in safire blue instead and ofcouse with the Holmegaard base instead.

Paul:

Palmqvist's Selena vases for Orrefors also have a similar mouth, but not that colour and are invariably marked. Definitely Aseda and probably Bo Bergstrom.

sincere thanks to all of you, and having looked at the variety of Aseda pieces (on the interntet), would certainly agree appears to be from that factory.  Probably me being a bit thick, but for some reason had not even considered that direction :-[   Quite a nice piece in fact, and definitely to be kept.   my thanks again.  :)     Paul S.
