The pattern of your vase looks a lot like one that Ermanno Toso used on some of his 1950s Fratelli Toso vases. One of these vases is pictured on page 102 of Leslie Pina's Fratelli Toso. The one in the book is cylindrical and has yellow, red, and white. Yours may be one of the vases of this type, but I am not sure. I hope someone else can give a more definite yes or no. Sometimes patterns can be copied by other companies.

It is a gorgeous vase. I wouldn't be surprised if F. Toso made it. If so, it is a valuable vase. (Fingers crossed it is not a copy of the decoration.)

Hi Anita,

I hope that this is not a copy  ;) Paid very much for it...

I saw vases of him in the same shape, but other pattern.
So it's not unusual for Toso. But I can't find anything similar with this pattern like this vase you have in the book, too... The quality is excellent and the the colours look like old murrines.
I don't know much about Toso pieces. In Dr. Fishers Auctioncatalogue there was the same vase like yours in Pina's book.
They wrote, that Toso mostly made his works on request. So the most things made buy him has never been published in books or sth else...
