Bought today, this impressive 12" high Holmegaard candleholder which could be used as a vase if turned upside down.  Does anyone know the designer please?  Also, is it poss. to date it - may be from the label?

This one looks like a giant gerkin, or a green Dalek :)  I think this might be Faglavik Glasbruk, Sweden.  What does anyone think please?  I know that these are often described as Holmegaard on ebay, but then so is everything ::) ;D

The Holmegaard piece - I'm not familiar with the exact design, but stylistically it's pure Michael Bang, circa mid-late 1980s.

The green vase, I'd say likely Chinese or Empoli, but I think the former is most likely going on colour/finish.

Thanks Nic 8).  Hoped you would look in.

The "Dalek" was made in a 3 part mold.  Too well made for Chinese IMHO, but Empoli is always a possibility.
