Nice Studio vase, polished pontil, 4 3/4" tall, 5 inches across top, heavy and thick.
No signature, been looking through books, its a bit like Kosta, Goran Warff, ( i thought he was a Klingon ;D)
It did come from an auction, with quite a few Scandinavian pieces

Any ideas?

Hi Andy, Nice vase!  :)
However.. I'm 120% certain it isn't Göran Wärff and I'm pretty certain it isn't Scandinavian. I think you should be looking at the Baltic countries for this one.. either Lithuania or Estonia. What says Ivo?

Thanks for breaking it gently  ;) and I can agree to "baltic" - Vilniiaus Stiklo to be precise
I think it is an older piece - more recent production can be found here
