Millefiore - gold ground
« on: May 25, 2008, 05:09:03 PM »

I was wondering if this paperweight is Italian?  It's 3" across, so it's pretty hefty.  Looks modern to me, quite a pretty little thing (if the colours are a bit on the garish side  >:D)  It's got a gold inclusion cushion underneath, and it all looks well made.

Is it Italian?  Don't tell me Chinese!    ::) :spls:

psssst you're not in the clear yet. Some fundamentalist paperweight collector might come along yet and tell you exactly how silly you are ...

You have a very nice Fratelli Toso there.
I collect Scottish and Italian paperweights and anything else that strikes my fancy.

Thank you.  I'm putting it beside my bed as it's so cheerful.  Maybe it'll put me in a good mood in the mornings. x :)
