Orrefors ice bucket question
« on: April 24, 2008, 04:10:23 PM »
Hi,
I've never seen another piece like this one and was wondering it's age and if there is a pattern name.  It has a pressed mark on the bottom Orrefors SP14.  I did look at the page with the Orrefors signatures but didn't see this one.  The piece is 6 1/2 inches tall.

Thank you for looking!

Your form was created by Simon Gate and came in blue and green.
The form was designed prior to 1946 but I cannot date the exact date

This was a very unusual signature used for a very short time at Orrefors.

Thank you so-o-o-o much!   I had no idea of age or anything.  It's been a favorite of mine sitting in a cabinet for a long time.   :hiclp:  Thank you!

I can tell it's moulded, but if it isn't an ice bucket what would it be?
