Vaseline glass matchbox holder
« on: May 29, 2008, 09:21:38 PM »
Help please with this vaseline glass matchbox holder I think , very similar to a Barolac design with cherries and birds , but this one has flowers and Butterfly's in relief my only other thought was maybe  a small chance Jobling, height 2.75" or 6cm

Thanks Roy

I would say the colour didn't look right for Jobling, that veers toward a bluish green, Jobling is more yellowish.

PS What are you doing buying uranium glass in MY colours!  ;)

I'd say not Jobling. It's not shown in Baker & Crowe & the style doesn't look right to my mind.

Thanks I did not really think much chance of being Jobling, although the colour does not look unlike other Jobling pieces I have had, as to Barolac is the colour is wrong for any chance.

PS  Had I known it was YOUR colour in uranium glass I would have left it on the table for you  :)

thanks Roy
