Harriton Carved Glass
« on: October 10, 2006, 08:04:17 PM »
I recently purchased a pair of framed eglomise mirrored panels that are signed Harriton Carved Glass.  Each panel depicts a Tang style chinese horse.  Both the reverse painted panels as well as the frames are executed in smoked mirrored glass.  The quality of the artistry and craftsmanship is the best I have ever seen in the medium, especially for an American piece.  Both pieces retain their Harriton labels as well as one being signed on the glass.  The label states that they came from a line called "Mirodescent."  Any information on these would be appreciated!

 :)
