does anyone recognize the name of Gary Schneider?
« on: July 02, 2008, 12:30:07 AM »
I would like to reach a man named Gary Schenider who wrote an article that's on the Fostoria website about vases that could be Fostoria or Westmoreland. His first sentence reads: "The discussion on who made the Indian Vases has gone on for years."
I, too, have been trying to determine where my two Indian vases were made.  I would like to reach Mr. Schneider to find out more about them. They're both 7" high and each features a Native American character in brown tones on what to me looks like white glass. The images do not appear to be decals, but I'm not sure about this. I've only seen vases like mine in two stores in the 20 years I've been looking and each time the mfr was labeled differently. So if you can tell me how to reach Mr. Schneider -- or if you know about these "Indian" vases, I'd like to hear from you. Thanks for your help.
