Early Clichy....?

The seller of this weight is usually fairly accurate on descriptions, and has sold Old English in the past.  So I don't know why this 1920s Arculus / Walsh Walsh has become an early Clichy...

Agreed - Stuart usually has accurate descriptions .

Perhaps it the 1848 date cane which has thrown him - after all that was what
Arculus Walsh/Walsh were intending ! The base however is a clear give away.
