Help with jug ID please, Scandinavian? - ID = Ekenäs
« on: July 06, 2008, 01:27:18 PM »
This  cased glass jug is about 20cms in height, one of those pieces you seem to see everywhere until you look then can't be found anywhere.  Won't say who I think made it as I almost always turn out to be wrong. Help much appreciated as always, best wishes, Gill

It's Italian, I think - if so, one of the Empoli factories. Could also be Chinese.

Looks swedish to me. Could be Elme, Åseda or Lindshammar.

*slaps forehead*

I do remember reading a past thread including your Ekenäs jug, now that you mention it. I really should engage my brain before commenting sometimes.  ::)
