Caithness Glass I know... anyone have a better id?
« on: July 08, 2008, 06:54:12 PM »
I picked this one up today in a charity shop for a couple of squid.

It's etched on the base as Caithness - Scotland and an edition number of 289/3000

It's 20 cms tall.

I've spent most of the afternoon surfing.. and getting nowhere.

a) Is the bird a wren?
b) Anyone know what the vase is called?

Many thanks in advance...

Steve

Did you look here at the catalogues Frank has painstakingly added? Yes it's a wren and it's a barrel vase from the Images range

Lomg way to go, especially glassware. If you come across any catalogues, leaflets or adverts please send in. Do you collect Caithness in particular?
