Nice result. Might not be to hard to find the maker as probably German. As museums sell a lot of these sort of repros they might be able to help too.

I found two dates of FHER registering pharmaceuticals:
1961 (Nyxanthan and Masigel)
1968 (Laxonalin)
Whilst these products won't help to find the manufacturer of your item, it may be an indication of the time frame to look at.

Mainz BTW has a long history with roman influences also. Bet there´s a lot roman glass in their museums, too.
Finding out the maker however might become an undertaking with efforts surpassing the object´s significance.
