Large pair of Blue bubbled Italian Farmers
« on: July 20, 2008, 12:54:54 PM »
Any Murano experts any suggestions for a maker of this pair,
1 with a scythe (need to get glue out!) and one with a basket of ducks.
Ive found a 1930s farmer by Barovier & Toso with a scythe, (Leslie Pina, circa 50s glass and
quite different in style than these, mine more stylised, no face just button nose)
so it must be a subject liked by the italians,
any help gratefully recieved.
They are over 12 inches  (32cm ) tall and 1.8 kg each.

I don't think Italian andy. As to country of origin. I am at a loss! Maybe the mods could move to glass?

Well, you could be right, i certainly presumed they were Italian. and remember finding that
Farmers was quite a popular subject.

Could i ask a Mod, to pop them into Glass, please.
And anyone else agree with Kane_u_pain that they are probably not Italian??
Cheers
