Thanks for that, my other half now thinks I've gone mad as I have just been looking for the sun to see what happens with this one and the masonic one when I hold them up to the light, as to be honest I thought they were similar.
But now I have them both out together I can see they are completely different, the Skruf one has a blue tint but does have an orange fire around the rim when held up to the light, and feels warmer to the touch than the Victorian one. That feels solid and dense, more like pottery and shows no other colour. It is very hard to describe so I hope you know what I am babbling on about
Would you think it dates from the 1950's with the decoration?
