One small step for glass
« on: August 16, 2005, 11:10:58 AM »
Hi, i've got what looks like a piece of pressed glass and it's celebrating the first moon landing. I've seen quite a few of these on Ebay but no one seems to know who they are made by.

Any information would be much appreciated, thank you.

US Company called BENT GLASS supplied machines and technique worldwide to make this type of pressed float with screenprinted lace or advertising. In Holland the last licence holder of Bent glass was a company called Flamingo Halfweg, and they went under in 1972 - similar companies may have survived longer in other countries.
