Hi all

Take a look at this antique St Louis !

Anyone seen an antique St Louis 4" diameter?? Looks all the world like a Murano to me !

It is a very nice Murano, however. Love the aventurine in the twists.
I collect Scottish and Italian paperweights and anything else that strikes my fancy.

I've seen a few with canes like those in the rosette - I suspect they are from sometime in the the 1950 - 1980 period, as they do not seem to appear in weights made in the last 30 years.  I think this one is of the same sort of age.

I have always pegged these as second quarter 20th century and not later than 1950. Usually I see the 3rd quater weights having concentric white crimps rather than this style of cane.
