Had a nice time at the National Glass fair yesterday, and i am 99% certain this bowl , as
Nigel suggested, is Teign Valley glass, a pic enclosed of a similar pattern , much smaller,
but same footed base and pontil, and with tvg on the base.
I will email http://www.teignvalleyglass.com/about.htm and see if they can confirm.

Thanks Nigel, and it was very nice to meet you at Birmingham, yesterday.

Cheers
Andy

Good news  :hiclp:

Recieved today from Teign Valley Glass,

'Dear Mr Hearne

Thank you for your message.  Yes, we can confirm that this is a fruit bowl made by Teign Valley Glass.  This is a range that we made to sell to various gift shops and galleries up until around 1995 and we still make occasionally for our own shop in Devon.

The reason it is not signed could be that it was originally bought in our own shop - we don't always sign this work - or possibly it may even have been a slight second, which again is not signed.

We did produce this bowl in a variety of colours so that would explain the blue one you saw.

We hope you enjoy it!

Best regards

Maybe this could be changed to a positive ID by a moderator?
And even better, saw this on ebay for 99p ! arrived today, bit smaller, but lovely little bowl ;D

Cheers
Andy
