Help with identifying glass obelisk
« on: August 12, 2008, 08:17:54 PM »
Hello,

I bought this glass obelisk at an auction, and cannot determine who made it (it's unmarked) and when.  Perhaps someone here can help?

It's clear glass with an amber tear drop suspended inside.  It measures almost 7" tall, the base is 2 1/2" wide, and it's six-sided.

I have searched the Internet but cannot find anything similar.  I appreciate any information.  Thank you.

It is the sort of thing that Caithness might have made but not come across it so far.
