Cover Candy Dish (?) with Dog Figure - ID = Jeanette Glass
« on: August 27, 2008, 06:27:44 PM »
Hi, have this what I refer to as a covered candy dish(?).  Has a little dog to top lying down.  About 6 inches high, and 3.5 inches wide.  I can see a seam it it.  Any ideas maker, or age?  TIA

It was made by the Jeanette Glass Co, from the 30's to the 50's.

Since this post, I did also find this Bambi similar design (but marigold color) of what is referred to as (?) powered jar....but I thought it might be a candy dish. (3rd row down, far right...)

Query -- candy dish, or powdered jar?

They were made as dresser jars, puff box, trinket boxes.
