I guess that's possible re. the Far Eastern fakes - though I still think it's more likely that they are just not proficient enough at their task.

Once made the items would be put into a lehr to anneal, so they should certainly not stack the bowls at that point. But then........... :roll:

Actually I think you're probably right Glen: the indentations do not line up with the 'marie', assuming the same type of bowl was to be placed on top.

But it'd be a pretty daft thing to do on reflection! :lol:
