i have never handled a piece of whitefriars.....a friend out from london suggested whitefriars....could someone help pls.

Hi Norman, it *looks* like a Whitefriars Glacier range jug (see

) however it's hard to tell from your photo what the base is doing - is it a welled base or flat?
It'd be worth your while checking the dimensions of your jug against the Glacier jugs in the 1972 Whitefriars catalogue at
www.whitefriars.com
to see if they tally up.

the base is not completely flat it has a gentle well....hope these oics are better.

Hi Norman, Try it on the Whitefriars site, they will tell you, the handle is a different shape to pips. Sue

I'd say not Whitefriars - the proportions, texture and handle look quite different from both Pip's example and the original catalogue. At least in your photograph they do.
