Topic: Purple balluster vases

I seem to have come across a plethora of balluster vases recently :-)

These two I've posted together because they are just so similar in colour and finish so I'm thinking they may be related.  I'm not at all sure who made them but I'm leaning loosely towards Reijmyre (just based on a comparison of the colour to a Reijmyre/Tom Moller vase I have).

The first vase is quite big at around 12 inches, whereas the second is a littleun at around 5 inches.  TIA.

Erm... no cos I don't have it yet - everytime I have enough money spare to buy them both something happens - last week it was my washing machine deciding to self-destruct.  I think I shall just have to bite the bullet and buy them (I shall raid my Running Away account).

I have the smaller one (6") in bottle green.
The bloke I bought it from said it was Riihimaki Pompadour, but I was sure that it wasn't anything like.

I agree Chris - it's deffo not Riihimaki.

I believe the first one is Swedish and by Lindshammer-

 there is a tapered version too, and they turn up on eBay as Riihimaki regularly- but aren't.

 Baluster is an architectural term for those curvaceous supports for balconies and walls
